Ancient Words Begins
Every year, towards the end of February, the Walla Walla University's Prayer Ministries Team leads a 72-hour Bible reading marathon called "Ancient Words." Together, we collectively read through the Bible in its entirety, aloud, in a single sitting, in the WWU Prayer House.
Campus Ministries needs more than 140 people to volunteer for half-hour or full-hour time slots to read. The Bible and journal used during this event will be donated to a local leader in the Walla Walla Valley. To sign-up to help out, follow this link to the sign up sheet: Click Here. Please reserve your spot as soon as possible. The marathon begins on Tuesday, February 28 and concludes at vespers on March 3.
If you have taken part in the past, you know that this is an amazing experience, especially because the Bible was originally meant to be heard , not read. So even if you don't volunteer to read, please stop by and listen at any time during the marathon, day or night, in the WWU Prayer House, 103 W. 4th St.

We also thank the students of I Cantori for sharing their music. This choir just returned from a very successful tour of Oregon. In just a few weeks they will travel, during spring break, to the east coast. Please join me in thanking them and showing them support as they carry the flavor of WWU to distant places.
